PermaFrost is the brain child of Allan Gordon and Katie Fraser, two students at a Southern Ontario university. Prior to PermaFrost's beginning both Katie and Allan wanted to create a webcomic but they were both lacking the certain skills required to do such a thing. Katie, the artist, lacked a good sense of humour and timing, only her dad ever really understands her jokes. While Allan, the writer couldn't really draw and was afraid his lack of talent would deter readers from the comic. So, eventually after a few months of planning (and a false start with the comic in September) PermaFrost was launched on January 15th, 2007.

       A short biography of the creators.

       Katie Fraser:

       Katie grew up in a very small town in the middle of nowhere Eastern Ontario. And before you ask her, no she did not grow up on a farm and she has never owned a cow/goat/pig/chicken and yes, she has seen/heard wolves/moose/deer/bears/foxes etc. Katie has been drawing for most of her life but was never that great at it, or was poor in comparison to her brother who has the real talent. But she got into using photoshop anyway and here we are today!

      Allan Gordon:

      Allan grew up in an even smaller town quite literally in the middle of nowhere Eastern Ontario. Well that's not really fair I suppose, it was close to a city (about 40 minute drive). Allan has been writing for a while (or at least as long as I have know him, 5+ years) and he was always very talented at it, he's written many small stories and has even been published! PermaFrost is a chance for Allan to stretch his creative muscle and write some funnier material (he mostly writes action thrillers I suppose). And yes, Allan did technically grow up on a farm, so why don't you ask him already?
